Una ragazza e sua madre si trasferiscono in una nuova città Presto scoprono che l’ottimo prezzo ottenuto per la bella casa che hanno trovato è dovuto al fatto che in quella a fianco una ragazzina aveva ucciso i suoi genitori e che il solo sopravvissuto, il fratello dell’omicida, vive ancora lì. I due giovani diverranno amici e s’innamoreranno, ma le ombre e i segreti del passato non tarderanno a far precipitare le cose.
